my little vent for the day...
Just was bugging me this morning... I know I should be grateful about any present I received at all, but what this situation that sort of irks me! I went to the wedding of a close friend last year. We had to fly across the country, stay 3 nights in a hotel (because the groom wanted us there early on Saturday so we had to stay Friday night and by the time the wedding ended on Sunday we would not have been able to get a flight home), and we still gave a check. Flash forward to our wedding -- they had to travel by car 45 minutes and even could have taken the LIRR if they wanted to, no hotel, nothing, and they gave us the same amount. So frustrating!!!!!
