okay i need your honest opinions advice. and i can handle whatever you have to say
so flowerfield is the place...we fell in love, its now just figuring out a day and knocking down the $pp ...because a sat night in the summer is nearly 200 bucks....ouch ...my question is to you, if i were to have a fall wedding would it be stupid of me to still make is beach theme? okay girls i can take critizism, this is why im askin....like if i my wedding is in november would it be weird to see starfish, and seashells and stuff like that? And have everything like beach themed?
i have other options, such as a day wedding , or moving to a fri/sun night, but i wanted ur opinion on that....i would have a april/may weddin, but my bff is having hers may 1, 09 and i dont wanna crush on her parade!

Is there a paticular reason why you want a beach theme. Only reason why I ask is because maybe you could incorporate you beach theme ideas in something else like your favors. I think beach in Nov does not go together.

Wouldn't do a beach theme after september...
What about a day wedding??????? or a sunday wedding if you are definite about wanting a summer wedding with a beach theme but driving down the price......
If you are doing 2009...... F4th of july is a sat so the govt national holiday will be observed on that friday.. so i know someone doing a thurs night July 2nd because most people will be off on Friday july 3rd.. just a thought

i think these days you can get away with just about anything in the name of individual preference, so if that's REALLY what you want, then do it. for me, i'd feel weird about starfish in november.
fall is such a BEAUTIFUL time of year, and the grounds @ flowerfield are going to light up with all those rich autumn colors. i say take advantage of that. if i wasn't a teacher, i might have gone in this direction myself.

l wouldnt do a beach theme in the fall....and i personally think it would look funny if i went to a fall wedding and there were beach theme. i say the latest you can do a beach theme is the last week of August, after that it would look silly. Maybe you can find another theme you really like for the fall?
