That's where I got it from .. The Song OF Songs in the Bible.

One of my closest friends got married.. had his brother read the reading at the ceremony.. and it was THAT passage.

He didn't let him read it til right before the ceremony. The groom's Wedding party was bent in with laughter. OMG

Background info -- the one who got married always ahd practical jokes played on him by his brother.. so it was a little 'revenge'.

After we picked it we realized how funny it was. My brother was embarrassed reading it too. You can see us laughing on the wedding video when he read it...'Hark, my lover....'

I don't remember comign across that in our search for readings, but I only glanced at them.

My friend had a read that at my other friend's wedding and we were hysterical laughing when she had to read it.. I don't know how she kept a straight face but at one point in the reading, I forget what part.. she looked directly at the bride, who knew we thought it was funny, and we just burst out laughing
