Pedestals

So we met with Ginny tonight. I'm going to be honest, we got there and were a little leary b/c of the 'factory type' set up. We we were quickly impressed by Ginny, and got very interested. So let me get some opinions about our package and our quote

oh btw - the gave us one of the low table arrangements the display just for the heck of it. beautiful glass cube with no joke 2 dozen roses in it. i thought that was awesome

so here's our package:

all sorts of purples - lavender freesia, purple delphinium, lavender stock, white stock, lisianthus, mini calla lillies (white & purple) lavender and white roses, etc.

arbor clusters (ceremony)
4 arrangements on low tables- aisle (ceremony)
dais - smaller versions of table cp's in small glass cubes
15 CP's in glass cubes (low arrangements)
mantle clusters to match CP's
my boK
2 BM boK's
3 corsages
5 boutaneirs (no charge)

$2575.

good or bad???

ok so it's the next morning and all i keep thinking about is this flower quote. is pedestals generally more expensive?

ITS weird and differs lol...theres quite a few ppl who have said that pedestals gave them a lower quote than even burtons, and then some who say that pedestals gave them the highest quote

I would ask about how many flowers per cp, one thing i noticed that ppl did get higher quotes at times but pedestals also used more flowers in the cp's, so instead of 2 dozen in a cp they were gonna use 50-they like to make the cp's very big and full...find out if that is the case

Hmm not sure. Try not to worry about it to much until you get your quote from FM. I am getting almost the same as your minus the flowers for the ceremony and high centerpieces for around $1800.

When you go to your other appt, you can at least have another price to compare to.

Good luck!!

i'm payin $100 for my low CP's from pedestals too but we have orchids in our centerpieces, which is what made it expensive!

when we left there, our gut said it was a pretty decent price. the amount of flowers in the CP's is definitely a good question to ask (thanks for that advice) it's so hard to tell what's a good price and what's a bad price - we've never bought flowers like this before, so we have no clue. After awhile the showroom grew on me. We just went in there not knowing what to expect.

I like that they had CP's everywhere bc it really gives you an idea of what you want, and you might go in there thinking you want one thing and then you see a CP and you're like WOW thats what i want now.

yeah it made be realize how much i wanted the glass cubes and also that high cp's weren't for me. i was expecting it to be a florist - i had no idea they were decorators.

and they just handed one of the cp's over to us and said here take this - 2 doz red roses - i was stunned
