As far as Burton's goes I didn't have a bad experience but I wouldn't go there! It's a house! Flowers down stairs dresses up, very tiny ( looks like they converted the closet in two dressing room so they could only help one party at a time! Only one lady working....in jeans and a hooded sweatshirt, she was nice though,but I did get a shady vibe when she told the bridal party a head of my cash only.....and someone walked in to pick up something she had to stop and take money and give her her dress. The steamer or iron and ironing board was out on the floor in from of the dresses in the way and they had one rack of bm dresses!

Renata's very friendly gorgeous place, huge! Separate room for everything....bm in one, tux another mob/mog in another, bridal another and the best sweet 16/ prom dresses in another! Reach room has thier own dressing room!! But very few plus sizes and kinda pricy , I took a peak at bm dresses average cost was 225?

Macy's....r demetrios gown really that expensive??? I thought it was very expensive and the sales lady was acting like she was trying to sell me a car! This is my wedding dress take it easy tiger!! I know she is working on commission and try to make a sale but that really put me off I would not want to buy from there! Especially when she told me there is no cap for alterations!!! R u crazy!?!?

burton's is definitely a small place! lol but I loved it there for BM dresses. However, i knew of the place already so the girls and I actually went to other stores first and looked at dresses, then we came to Burton's with the style #s that they each wanted to order (each girl got different styles of Bill levkoff dresses)

Burton's is a fabulous place to order from because of the incredible prices, but I would definitely recommend finding your dress elsewhere, then going to Burton's with the exact dress in mind that you want to order through them. They will order anything for you to their store!

you should check out Lilette's in Bellmore too- it's a cute little store and they are sososo nice in there. Good prices too :)

Demetrios is pricey...I got one of their dresses but they do sales from time to time and the dresses are great quality that is worth the price.

It sucks that you had a bad experience at Demetrios! I loved my consultant, Alcira. I thought their prices are right around average from what I've seen at other places and MUCH cheaper than Bridal Reflections. I picked out my dress last Sept. then waited until they had a trunk show (15% off) in December and ordered it then. I wish you luck in your search!

Maybe I thought it was pricey bc my top choice is a Maggie sottero dress right now and it's under $1200....those similar dress was $1800. I didn't look at a demetrios dress till I got there, so I had nothing to compare.

My dress is Cosmobella which is by demetrios or the same line or whatever. They also carry it at OTHER stores which is why i shopped around. I got a great deal on my dress at bridal suite in centereach!

I love bridal suite of centereach!! I think that's where I'm going to buy in the end. But I don't think I tired on one demetrios dress there....oh well! Lol I like a Maggie dress right now. I have a few more places to check out just to make sure.

I just bought my dress last week at bridal suite of bayshore and carol helped me. She was a really nice woman. No complaints. My dress ended up bring discontinued so I bought the floor sample at a discount. For my bm dresses we checked out Demetrios in manhasset but the dress was pricey $285 so we decided to purchase them online almost 50 %.

If you tried on a demetrios and loved that one... Centereach can order it for you regardless if they have that one in the store or not. As long as they carry the designer ... they can order the dress.

If you tried on a demetrios and loved that one... Centereach can order it for you regardless if they have that one in the store or not. As long as they carry the designer ... they can order the dress.

Oh I know that but the demetrios dress didn't fit at all sui tight there wasno way to tell if I.would like it in my ssize. I love the Maggie Sottero dress but I gotta see other others that I have on my list first. I don't wantto look back and second guess. Bc that's how I am!
