My Miracle

A year ago today God gave me the greatest miracle in the world. My son James was born 15 weeks early. He weighed 1lb 14oz and was 13 inches long. My son faught hard, and today he is a happy baby with no medical complications, (except that he is a little delayed in motor skills but he is catching up fast now)....which is a miracle for a baby born so premature.

Im posting this message because I know a few of the Nurses in the NICU at Stony Brook University Hospital are planning their weddings; so in the hopes that one of them posts or reads posts on this site..... I just want to thank them all for taking care of my baby, my Fh and me in our time of need. The entire NICU staff is truely Angels here on Earth. Thank you so much for all that done.
We are eternally grateful.

While I don't have any specific experience with that hospital you mentioned, I do have to say that there are some doctors and nurses out there (especially ones working with babies) that are just truly magical people. Glad you had a good experience during a rough time.

What an amazing story! Nurses have one of the hardest jobs in the world and they don't get enough credit -- it was great of you to post this.
