My MOH backed out....

I have the BIGGEST headache.bc of her....not to mention my throat is kiling me.
i feel like really telling her off, but il just be wasting my time....

I can understand turning you down when you ask but after she accepted?! That's horrible. I'm sorry to hear about this but at least she won't be in the BP!! There's nothing worse than having someone in your BP who you don't want there!!! (OK, there are WORSE things- but in terms of wedding things....)

Is she still attending the wedding or are you going to 'forget' tp send her an invite?

I can feel your pain but mine is a tad bit different. My FH's best man (who is his cousin & treated him like a brother) backed out because I didn't make his wife my MOH. There was NO WAY that was going to happen because I happen to not really like his wife. My FH and I were UPSET for days and they knew this. Now, his cousin and his wife are kissing our A$$E$. Well, too late!!

Sorry that you are going through this. I know it's painful now but you will get over it. Now, you see her true self. You don't need 'toxic' people like this in your life.

I'm so sorry! It was completely inappropriate of her to back out through IM. It should have been through a phone call, and with profuse apologizing! I lost a BM, and in the end I'm glad she decided to drop out. We had grown apart even though we grew up together. This girl does not seem to be a true friend, and you don't need her on your wedding day. You only need people that love and care for you.

I asked her in Feb, so now 9 months later shes backing out...

I just read tis b/c I searched, i wanted to see why you're upset. I'll be your MOH. i LOVE the gown. hee hee.

As you knowI know your ex-MOH, we were 'best friends' when we were kids,so I'm going to keep comments to a minimum...but it's not right, she had 9 months to tell you that she can't afford it or whatever, and I'm pretty sure she could get the money if she needed to. Sounds more like jealousy

Yea..exactly, since you know her, I'm sure you know how she is....
My mom told me if she didnt have the $$ she would have payed for her stuff. I don't think its even that-I think its the fact she just didnt want to do it. One of our friends said she was jealous-and if she was, I'm not sure why...but she did say something a while ago about 'if i hear anything more about weddins, im goin to puke ' or something to that extent.
