this really sucks - i feel like none of my friends give two rats butts about me - this is the 3rd bridesmaid to say she would be there and then back out - what the H*ll i just want to cry. two of my other bms told me not to worry about it that they would take care of everything but - you know this just stinks - all my friends are flakes - grrrrr

Re: my moh backed out of the wedding
Try not to be upset - I'm sure she had her reasons and did not want to let you down on your big day. Better now so you can make other arrangements. I know how you feel - I couldn't even get the one I wanted to be my MOH to talk to me for longer than two minutes so I could even ask her! I figured if she's too busy to talk, she is definitely too busy to actually be involved. Don't worry - it will all work out and your wedding will be beautiful.

Re: my moh backed out of the wedding
sorry to hear that, but you're probably better off, there's nothing worse than having a member of your bridal party who's heart really isn't in it and they don't care about your wedding.

I'm So sorry to hear that Amy. That really does suck and I'd feel the same way that you do. I'm not sure what her reasoning is but if it's a valid reason then so be it, but don't let this ruin your day. Her loss for missing out on being a part of it!

Re: my moh backed out of the wedding
yup that is her the gal who couldnt pick a dress - then she missed the deadline for ordering the dresses ( guess that was her way of telling me she didnt want to be in the wedding ) now whoever steps into the moh spot will have to rush order their dress - which personally i dont think is fair - i mean seriously if you knwo you dont want to do it why not say something not wait till the dress deadline comes up - then be like well - i thought you'd knwo cause i didnt order it - like duh - how would i know that do i read minds???/ sometimes people amaze me ... oh well less drama - i think i am going to let the 2 bms that are doing like everything for me be the comaidsofhonor even though i dont know them really well ( they are my sister;s friends and are standing in for her since she cant be there ) then they can use the bm dresses and i will just get them different bouquets or something else to make them stand out more - thanks for all the words of encouragement gals

Re: my moh backed out of the wedding
I'm sorry. I was afraid of things like this so I only asked 3 friends to be in Bp (one is a guy). It's so much better that she told you now rather than later. Wedding bring out funny things in people. Just think about those who really love you will be there for you.

Shelly is right. Weddings make people show their true side. One of my bridesmaids backed out on me. She even said that the friendship was kaput. Your wedding will be beautiful.

Re: my moh backed out of the wedding
I'm so sorry but one good thing that may come of this is that you know who your true friends are, the ones who will always be there for you.
You will till have an amazing wedding and your tried and true friend will be right there with you
