My mom and my BM's ((shower related))

Well if you went to the last 2 GTG you know I love Milk & Sugar. But my MOH was talking to me yesterday and basically told me my mom has been a Pain in the Arse to get a hold of and keeps changing her mind on the date of my shower and they missed the boat on Milk & Sugar. They would have to have the shower the week before the wedding..

So I am a little bummed. Not that I think I wont have an amazing shower no matter what, I mean my mom and BP are F'n awsome! But I dont know why mom is being so indecisive! I think she honestly wants everything to be perfect. So even though I might not get M&S, MOH knows some other places that I love and she is soooo on the Ball!

BUT I got very very excited that they are looking into these things!!! It makes me feel good!

isnt that a great feeling? lol my girls have skipped over the shower and woth right to the bacelorette party lol we have been talking about it! lol

Wow- your wedding is over a year away and they missed the boat on M&S ALREADY?!?!? They must be pretty popular! Can they do it earlier than planned?

I have a feeling they are trying to throw you off---they knew you wanted it there You only mentioned it every chance you got- lol

Does that mean my Mom should plan my shower NOW if it is going to be in Jan/Feb? My Mom is not on the ball with these things either I know she didn't book anything. I think I may need to plan with he rand know about the shower- which I wanted to be a surprise for once in my life.

PS- mine WONT be at M&S

Well at M&S they only do showers 1 day a week, so that is why it is booked. It may be because they are trying to throw me off.....
However I would get the ball rolling with your BM and Mom!!! It sounds sooo close!

Oh my gosh!! You just sent me into heart attack mode. Your mom and BMs get HIGH FIVES for being so pro-active!!!

I'm in the middle of planning a shower and BP for my MOH for August 2007!!!!

True- M&S IS only once a week and I can see why it is a majorly sought after venue (It's awesome)

You should call and see if they have any dates available in June/July (or whenever they would be doing your shower) and see if they are REALLY booked up that far in advance. HAHA- I'm bad and snoopy- LOL

W/ our e-party- we booked 2 months in advance b/c it was just a restaurant so they should be fine, but it wouldn't hurt for my Mom to book a date now.

Props to your mom and BMs for looking into your shower already! I can't believe the place is booked already - they could be throwing you off though.

i think it's great that they are planning it at all. I have no idea if i'm even getting a shower!
I mean, i'm sure i am but i doubt they are planning it yet.

maybe they are just trying to throw you off?
