My mom didn't get her visa

My mom and sister went on their interview today to see if they could get a visa to come to the wedding. They denied her. I am really bummed!!! It's beyond me how we let terrorists into this country but not a mother and sister who want to come and see a wedding! Just absolutely ridiculous! I'm so upset.

Unfortunately, in most countries (this is just an educated guess on my part, FH fam is from CHile) you kind of have to prove that you have something to return to in that country, I guess so they don't get a ticket to come here and never come back it is really s hitty how they do it.......

yup this is true. most of my aunts & uncles in peru were all denied visas to come to my wedding. it really sux balls. especially my uncle who is a doctor and has a private practice, home, and kids out there...they STILL denied him a visa.

FH Is part Peruvian too...but doesn't speak to that side of the family..>I don't know just thought I'd share! that is crazy about your uncle....FH cousins got their visas but one is an engineer and the other is a teach...
