My mom is coming over our house for dinner tonight...

How about steamed vegetables and chicken

Stir fry brown rice, chicken and broccoli?

Pasta?

Mix ground beef, ground chicken or ground turkey with a packet of lipton soup mix and some teriyaki sauce and make the best burgers EVER!

Umm....what do you have? I have tons of recipes in my head....

My next question is how do you cook chicken I'm totally hopeless

chicken francaise-seriously so easy

steak-mashed potatoes

cornish hens- theyre easy bc you just put it in the oven or i put them in broiler actually

maybe buying like fresh tortellini and buying a sauce

im trying to keep it easy

lol how did you get yourself in this predicament? I have a very easy chicken recipe with diced (canned) tomatos and olives, if it sounds like something you think she'd be interested in, let me know and I'll give you the recipe. Seriously, you can't screw it up

Actually I make a delicious marinara sauce (I think all Italian's are born with the gene to make a great sauce) but she knows that's the only thing I know how to make so I kind of want to surprise her.

what kind, do you mean for chicken parm...ok they have to be cutlets though, so you buy chicken cutlets-boneless. Beat it a little with the beater thingy lol, or even if you dont not a big deal at all honestly...in a bowl crack two eggs and mix it, also put breadcrumbs in a dish, then you take the chicken and put it in the just flip it on both sides until its covered with the eggs, then put it in the breadcrumbs and cover the chicken with crumbs...put the chicken in a pan with oil, but let the pan heat up with the oil first for a few short mins, until it sizzles a little...let it cook a few mins on each side until golden brown, they take the chicken out and next you put some sauce on the chicken and mozzarella slices from the deli on top and put it in the oven

If you are by a Trader Joes- they have an amazing chicken marsala sauce in a jar- you just brown the chicken a little and pour the sauce on and its like heaven (and sooo easy lol)

Ok I just looked up Chicken Marsala on the FoodNetwork and printed out the recipe. Lucky for me it says 'easy' Hopefully it comes 'ok' I will report my results later!!!
