My mom passed away today. November 8th 2004

Hey everyone. I don't know if you saw my post a few weeks ago, but my mom was sick and in the hospital. She was fighting for her life. She had an infection in her lungs, CCL, and Liver Cancer. She put up an amazing fight, but in the end her body started to shut down and she couldnt handle it anymore.

My mom was the miracle woman. She is a 14 years survivor of breast cancer and she has been sick with liver cancer for 3 years....She never once complained, she worked up to the last friday before we admitted her to Mercy ICU, and she alwyas tried to look her best and be happy.

My mom was an amazing person, and I am so happy that she was my mother. I would never complain about The 33 years that she spent with me. and I will never forget them. She was not only my mother, but she was also my best friend. She taught me so many important things in my life, and even though most of the time I was stubborn and didnt take her advice, I know in the end she was always right. I will always love her and her memory will always be in my heart.

I love you MOM.

, i don't know what you are going through and i won't pretend to. from reading your posts, i can see you are a great son, raised by a wonderful and caring mother and father. your whole family is in my prayers. hang in there scott.

Thanks. She didnt suffer at all. She was on so much pain medication. The doctors and nurses made sure of it. We had two of the nurses crying that took care of my mother and the doctor was just amazing. He showed up on his weekend off and was just very caring too. The people that work in the ICU at Mercy hospital are just simply amazing.

I am sooooo sorry for your loss. I know theres nothing that i can say that can make it any better, but i admire her strength and courage; and yours, as well. the memories we have really do keep those that we love alive in our hearts forever

i second on Mercy - we had amazing nurses when my grandma passed away feb 2003. it was as hard for them as it was for us.

Words cannot express my sympathy to you, Danielle, and your family at this sad time in your life.

Please find comfort by knowing your mom is smiling down on you from up above. With every sunset and sunrise, know your mom is up there watching over. She is no longer in pain, she is no longer suffering.

I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

There are no words to express to you how greatly sorry I am for your loss. Your mother sounds like she was one hell of a woman. I know that right now your pain is indescribable but just remember she is no longer in pain.
