So I figured I do something nice for a change... she was laying down on the sofa fast asleep, so I decided to go wash the dishes. She wakes up and says, 'Let me go wash the dishes' I say, 'Dont worry, I already washed them for you'....so you would think she would of said Thank you...of course not..not my mom...first she claps as to say its a miracle for me to wash dishes, then she says 'Yea, you washed two plates' W T F! whether its 2 plates or 20..I still washed the dishes! (btw it wasnt just 2 plates she was being sarcastic)....am I wrong for overreacting here? My mom has seriously been getting on my nerves lately..maybe its the wedding..but I cant wait to get out of this place...

Wow..good to see Im not alone I mean, Im here thinking Im doing her a favor...shes freaking passed out on the sofa...the last thing anyone wants to do when they wake up is dishes....so much for trying to be nice..t.hats what I get..

I think my stepmom is going thru early pre-seperation anxiety or something. I feel like she either hates, distrusts or is just plain picking on me lately. Even my sister pointed it out. I think they just react this way for some reason.

I think thats exactly what my mom is going through. Its like you just think...ok, what in the world just happened....I know my mom doesnt want me to leave, but geez do you really think treating me this way is going to make me stay?

its definitly b/c of the wedding! Dont let it bother you too much, but i have also been bickering with my mom back and forth for the past few months...she feels the need to always comment or give me her opinion

I'm SO glad I don't live at home anymore! My mom and I have been getting along great...but I know it would be tense if we were under one roof. Hang in there - it's almost your day and then you get to start a new life with FH!!

well i cleaned the house for my mom and when my dad came home she had the gull to tell him i sat on my but all day an watched her clean ugggh i could have screamed, and i told my dad that was a strait out lie......
