My mom the amazing bargain finder

My mother found a dress to wear to my wedding already...and I don't have mine yet! I can't believe the bargains she finds...she got a dress that was originally $625 for $25. Can you believe that?

She got it at Lord and Taylor in Garden City I think. It's sort of a sea foam green type color, a sheath with a sheer overlay with some velvet leaf type things on it and a little embroidery/beading. I am really not describing it right, but it is very nice in person. And for $25 I feel okay maybe changing my color scheme a few times before the wedding; she can probably pick up a few more crazy bargains by then!

My mom is the same way and I got a little of it from her. She always finds deals at Macys. She will look through the sale racks for hours!

L and T offers great sales when you get them. I need to head on over there for a dress for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah. I made the mistake of trying on a dress in a boutique that was in the $600 range and it fit perfect. They would only go as low as $450. With a wedding to plan and pay for, I have no business buying an evening gown for that price but man did it look good.

I know...it's ridiculous. But I guess it just kept getting marked down and is part of the summer clearance. Then you throw in a 20%off coupon and viola! Everyone should go an check out the evening gown section of the department stores cause you can get some good stuff if you luck out and find your size.
