My mom was in the ER!!!!!!!****UPDATE****
So I get a call at work today that my mom's job is on the phone!!!! I was like![]()

. I thought they meant to say she was on but, no it was one of her co-workers.
She slammed her right thumb into the safe at work!!!!![]()
She had to be taken to emergancy. So I ran out of work, got my son and ran to the hospital. Thank God my sister just finished her nursing, summer class yestarday and she was able to meet me there.
Well she has pemrmanet damage to her thumb. It was hanging on her by a thread. She smashed the bone in there and they say she will lose alot, if not all feeling in her thumb and it will have some deformity,sp.
So now she will have this doctor for years he says cause she will be out on workmens comp, need phsical therapy and all that stuff. I hope she wont need surgery![]()

She is all stiched up and on vics and antis for 10 days!!!! She is very lucky they didnt have to take her finger and also my son will be home for the summer and be able to take care of her.![]()
Funny thing is the doc said she didnt bleed alot cause she is a smoke but, he wants her to quit.

So yestarday was hard for her, the pain meds made her really sick and she slept on and off. She couldnt even watch TV. So my sister and I called the doctor and asked what we should do. He told us to take her off the pain medication and take 2 etra-strengh tylenol. She feels soo much better then before and slept more last night then the night before, as well. I have been taking care of her doing all the duties in the house, blow her hair out and my son set her hair in curlers, it was cute. Thank God she is able to shower with the one hand, she was cute about that.
I boughther some flowers and goodies that she likes from Trader Joe's yestarday!!!![]()
But now we have to make calls for the doctor so she can go see him and see what the outcome will be and start workmens comp papers...fun, fun, fun.
