She's OK, but she's been feeling dizzy and lightheaded for months. Her doctor told her to go to the emergency room and get admitted for some tests. They're not sure what it is but I guess it's related to her diabetes (which is completely under control). It's not a big deal, but I wish I were in NY so I could go see her She's there by herself and hospitals are lonely and depressing places.

Is she going through menopause? Mom had those symptoms for months and they couldnt figure out what was wrong until they tried to do a biopsy on her uterus..... have the doctor run a test with that just to clear it...

i'm so sorry. it's scary to be in the hospital with no one there. my mom is also diabetic and has had a couple complications within the past year. it's tough
