She's OK, but she's been feeling dizzy and lightheaded for months. Her doctor told her to go to the emergency room and get admitted for some tests. They're not sure what it is but I guess it's related to her diabetes (which is completely under control). It's not a big deal, but I wish I were in NY so I could go see her She's there by herself and hospitals are lonely and depressing places.
oh man .. i hope everything goes well and its just something that is a qucik fix with some medicine!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope everything is ok. Its good they are doing tests though. Better safe then sorry.

You are too sweet! Thank you so much. She's actually at Beth Israel in Brooklyn. Hopefully they're taking great care of her.
North Shore is an excellent hospital. My grandmother was there for a triple bypass a couple of years ago and they treated her so well!

Bonnie, How is your mom doing?
She's doing well, hun, thanks for asking! I spoke to her this morning and she feels fine but just wants to go home already! They are still running more tests and hopefully she'll be home tomorrow. Just wish I could go visit - that's why I'm sad!
