she is sort of driving me nuts already! if something isnt exactly what she would pick... she doesnt like it. i get excited and she gives me a negative opinion! it annoys me most b.c i always end up changing my mind b.c her opinion totally effects mine. ggrrr!
I am having the same problem with my mom!!! Me and FH have this code that I reach for his hand when I am frustrated and I squeeze it really tight so I don't yell at her. I have tried talking to her about her ideas but since she is helping to pay she wants a part in everything!
I had this problem with my mom when I first started planning and first got engaged but I think as it gets closer to the wedding, maybe your mom will relax a bit. Mine started to mellow out and be more helpful as the months went on.
Boy did you say it all, my mother asks the silliest questions. She says no you shouldn't do this, you should do that. etc. etc.
Maybe you should stop listening to her. It is your wedding and if you like it that is all that should matter.
I had that problem with my mom at first. Telling me since its my 2nd wedding I shouldnt do this and that. But since she has realized i am going to do it the way I want things have gotten better. Its your wedding, your day do what you want.
