my mother is a moron NWR

I caught my 15 year old sister outside the mall smoking yesterday with a friend.

So I told my mother and she is doing nothing but telling her to stop. The kid has never been grounded in her LIFE..

She is also dating an 18 year old who we know smokes pot.. if my sister is lying about this what else is she lying about.

So in closing my mother is an effing idiot and Im so mad right now I could scream.

was your sister upset that you saw her smoking?? do you have a good relationship with her?? maybe you can try talking to her and telling her how bad it is...

sometimes my mom makes me so mad like that... my little brother never gets in trouble, but i just have to remind myself that he is her child, not mine, and it really isnt any of my business, of course it has been a lot easier convincing myself of this since i don't live with them anymore...

My sister and I dont have a great relationship.She knows I told my mom and she hasnt said anything to me about it yet. She knows it is a horrible thing to do as my brother (24) smokes and we are always ragging on him for it.


If this was my kid Id so be making their lives miserable right now but my mother is so afraid tht my sister will like not like her anymore that she will not do anything about it. I mean she is in 10th grade!! I could see she she were 17 /18 years old , but she is 1555555555555555555555555

i'm in the same boat...my parents see my little sister (not so little anymore, she's graduating from college in may) as an angel that can do no wrong. they're giving her an effing car for graduation! i got a pat on the back!

nonetheless, i still love her to pieces, in fact she's my MOH. so when she was in HS and pulling the smoking bit, and the staying out until 4am bit, and the sneaking off with boys bit, here's what i did...i told her if she didnt cut the $hit out, i'd kick her a$$. i have no problem embarassing her in front of her friends. it kept her in line and today she is a straighter arrow. a little bit of fear never hurt anyone.

since your mom won't talk to her, you do it. thats what big sisters are for!...and when that doesn't work, threatening her life is always another route. good luck!

yea but I was scared shitless of my parents and didnt smoke a cigarette until I was 20 years old. ALSO.. she has NO RULES and it is going to get out of hand real quick

That kind of stuff scares me.. I have a 12 year old sister, and I worry about this stuff all the time

You need to have a serious talk with your sis. Chances are, she will listen to her big sister before your mom.

you guys obviously dont know my sister hahahaha.

No, I will try and talk to her but my sister is under the impression that the world revolves around her and that she can do whatever she wants.

I dont have the ability to like ground her.. which is what my mom should do... that would be like TORTURE for her. She would die to even stay in the house one day.
