My mother wants us to have a Chartreuse cake - HELP!
She saw it in Martha Stewart and is in love.
I hate it.
I told her that I wanted something a bit more traditional and I was told that I have no taste.
And apparently every time I disagree I am Bridezilla.
Ugh. Is it going to be this up and down for the next 18 months?!?

Meg, I vote traditional cake. Tell her you want to, as a symbol to her, replicate her wedding cake. Chances are it was traditional back then and what is she going to say- she has no taste on her cake? She should like the idea. I LOVE the look of a traditional cake. And, yes, it will be like this for the next 18 months. Take up yoga, zen meditation or get massages or something. You'll go out of your mind!!!
