So, when I say my mothers hosue (where I will be getting ready) is about 50 feet from the church, it really is. You leave the driveway make a left and it is 50 feet straight ahead. So she came up with this notion to have me walk to the church with her and my girls!!! Now, this is not a financial reason she just thinks it is different and 'cute' . Now, when she first said it FH and I . But then the more we think of it, it is kind of growing on me. What do you girls think????

isn't that what they do down in new orleans? well you walk from the church to the hall.. why not change it up? I think its ADORABLE! you can hire a tumpeter or bagpiper or some sort of musician to 'play' you down the block!
now I'm jealous!
Such a cute idea!! I love it! I would definitely walk to my church if it was that close. But it's not.

i like it.... its actually part of greek tradition for the bride to walk to church... doesnt work so well here cuz not every church here is greek orthodox obviously id be walking for quite a while lol

My church is literally a block away from my house, but I think I'd be scared to walk and dirty my dress. But that's just me.

I think its a very cute idea... esp since its so close, you would be saving $$$ and use it towards something else maybe? I bet the photographer can capture some really nice pics
