My nails look like ****. Please help.

My nails look like crap. I am a recovered nail biter who relapses every now and then when I am stressed or nervous, which is now because of my job/school. What can I do to make them prettier for my wedding in 63 days???

Go get a manicure...even if they look awful...go get a manicure so they are cleaned up and you stop biting...go weekly...put on nail tek as well!

I am a recovered nail biter as well, and I relapse too! But it always helps me to get them done!

me too! it's been 2 weeks without biting but the surrounding skin is gross and i keep picking it!

i try to keep a nail file with me at all times, keep polish on them, and keep hand lotion with me.

i have 43 days to have wedding-worthy nails

Also go get prenatal vitamins so they start growing stronger. Believe you can get them OTC from any pharmacy or drug store.

I agree w/ Mrsdrink - no matter what shape your nails are in go and treat yourself to a mani. Then use nailtek - the stuff is amazing !! Your nails will look beautiful for your wedding !!

I wanted to get prenatal vitamins but I heard you shouldnt take them unless you are expecting...i heard that it was too much for a woman who is not pregnant? Any truth to this?

I started about 2 months ago doing a gel manicure
Today they are much stronger and hopefully will last through the honeymoon!

Thanks guys, I already started the prenatals, CVS brand though, hopefully not so cheapo that it makes no difference. Will start to get manis too, although the ladies are going to laugh at my gross nails and I will be embarrassed - though not as embarrassed as if my nails look bad on the BIG DAY.

My boss' wife just opened a business in Mastic-Christine's Nail Studio. I don't know much about nails but she has been doing them for 10 yrs. You will get a disc if you mention my name. She is very reasonable and good. FM if interested in the info.
