Ok, my nephew will be 3 in september. He is having horrific nightmares about a man hitting him over the had and has woken his parents up to take him to the front door so he can show them the man. What could this mean?

Re: My nephew's nightmares
Too much exposure to TV? It's odd what these kids dream about. It doesn't necesarily have to mean anything but his imagination getting the best of him. I hope it stops soon so he can get some rest
I know my daughter recently had a tramautic experience and wakes up screaming every night. I've been sleeping on the floor of her room every night since then since this is the only way either of us get any sleep. She's too little to communicate what she's dreaming of.

I hope everything works out with your daughter! Good Luck! Keep us posted!

I would be worried too. If he hasn't watched anything (heck even the programs geared towards children show violence - look at The Road Runner, etc.? ) that would make him have these dreams, then I would definitely have him checked out. How frightening for this little guy

Oh, no -- the poor kid. I'm glad that she's taking him to a doctor - children that young tend to dream mostly about animals, things that are soft and round (teletubbie like).
