My new favorite show...

i know...i was waching it today the repeats....sooo good..he is great..i looved the whole decor for south beach bride

I just watched it for the first time tonight too. I saw a couple of the reruns at 5 or 6pm but can't watch the new episodes b/c i watch Desp Housewives and Brothers and Sisters and I don't have DVR...

I know it's unheard of but the cable account is our landlords, it's included in our rent so we can't get DVR but as soon as we buy a house that's the first thing I'm getting.

I like the show too. FH is definitely not a big fan though (even tho I always try to make him watch it with me). He doesn't like David's work at all. He keeps saying that every wedding he does ends up looking like a strip club. lol. I might start watching it alone

really? lol that is so funny, he must go to some upscale strip clubs I LOOOOOVE the look he does, its very modern and just gorgeous. I prefer that style and he just makes weddings look different than the norm.

Sometimes I think he is a bit harsh, but i always loved his work. Also at the end of the show when you see what he does, you go ok it was worth it

I agree with FH tho on how the lighting is a little extreme. Definitely not my style because neither FH & I like night clubs at all. But I think that's what the Brides wanted.

I watched it last night for the first time and OMG he does a great job!

Did anyone catch Bridezilla last night? With Lisa....the crazy girl who was getting married to her ex husband? I seriously thought that had to be fake because she was absolutely NUTS!

ive been to strip clubs and I can say that they look nothing like that

yeah its about personal taste, i like that light and clubs don't have that lighting actually. The lighting they had was lighting up the room with different colors such as the pink or blue and so on. And in clubs you see different lighting not where it lights the room up a different color. I had the perimeter lighting for my own wedding and i love weddings that have it.

Im a big fan of uplighting!! I think it adds to the mood of the room. I would have gotten it too had I not been in a room with windows on the ceiling. I had reflection on my side. LOL.
I must say I was surprised he allwed the girl last night to keep the BM dresses. I thought they were kinda ugly, but I guess he can't make them change everything- he has to limit himself somewhere. hehe.

oh i saw the repeat later on at night, the blonde chick who was like a marilyn monroe impersonator. He let them keep the bm dresses for ceremony only and then he got them new dresses for the reception, which were AMAZING!!!! so not sure if it was the same show

I'm glad you liked the show. I don't think that mine will be that interesting...I'm clearly not a Marilyn Monroe impersonator!!!

I am dreading his little comments about me that is for sure. Our episode will be on Nov 23rd.
