MY NEW JOB (same company)

I posted this in the GMB thread but i am just so excited and it deserves its own thread!!

I got the new job i have been eyeing!! I am SO excited. I transition over the next few weeks and definatley by Dec 6th. That means EVEN less LIW for me, and more proving i can do this job better than anyone else!!

I am moving into account management for my company (a niche staffing firm in the DC area where i am currently a recruiter) I have been talking about this with some of you for MONTHS now and now it is really happening. I am SOOO excited!

I wish I could move up from recruiter (as ungrateful as I seem being that I just got promoted). But this boutique firm leaves no where for me to go....except Partner!!!! Hrmmmm!!!

Tell me girls, how do you do it? People here are pressuring me to move up....(its about time) but I keep making excuses. I cant see myself actually giving a new job my all when my mind is elsewhere!!!

Thanks girls! Honestly this has been in the making for quite some time. When i started as a Junior Recruiter, it was with the intent that this was the path i wanted to take...promoted to recruiter and still with sales/ AM in my future and now here it is!

I am really excited about it...i get to build more long-term relationships, and because i come from the recruiting side i know more about our 'product' than most.

Azad, you are TOO sweet! i have missed you too!!! one of these days though i SWEAR i will be back on every night (still have the friend staying in the spare bedroom/office for a little while longer, but i am not complaining...it saves us some money and we can DEF. use it towards the wedding!!!!)

BTW-- WHAT IS YOUR AVIATOR (sp)?
