So after narrowing down a style and neckline and lace/beadwork.... i keep tryin on the same looking gowns and i cant even tell the difference anymore...
Im kinda upset that I'm not getting that like 'whoa' feeling .... And the more I try on, the worse the situation is getting... I think Im leaning towards more demetrios gowns... so I really think my last resort is gonna be macys herald sq
Just needed to vent... since I went to a couple diff stores today

the consultant actually purposely pulled other gowns that were totally diff and one look in the mirror and i turned right back around n threw it off lol i tried... i really did... i tried on something bigger and totally got lost in it, no shape, made me look even shorter than i already am...
they are all missing something... not sure what it is yet, but maybe if i come across 'the one' i can pinpoint it ... juts a very tiring day...
That's really frustratinbut I'm sure you will find something. The mermaid style looks nice on you so definately stick with that. Hmmm keep looking I'm sure you'll find it ... Takes time for some people. I actually thought you got yours already. I guess you didn't want to settle, which is good.

thanks for the compliment! it seems like everyime i come home happy after putting a dress on... i let the feeling settle and it just fades away... never thought it would be this hard for me

when i get like that--everything starts to melt together and it all looks the same--I know it's time to take a break. now that you have a clear idea of style/designer, maybe focus on other aspects of wedding planning for a while and come back to the dress later when you can see it from a fresh perspective?

I think you need to take a break. You are getting overwhelmed and it happens! You will be okay . . . Take a few days to just think about what you saw and you know for next time you shouldn't try on soo many.
I have not started looking yet . . . so I can only imagine how scary it might be for me too. I am going to tell you this b.c I hope it holds true for me . . . When you find your dress . . .you will know!

Since you are getting married in Aug. why dont you take a break. And try again in a few weeks. Maybe it help clear your mind. Or go in with an open mind. Tell the lady to just bring a whole bunch of diff. dresses. To see what you will like. Alot of the time you go in for one thing and then you find something very diff. thats what happened to me.

Gina I have to say I didnt cry when I found the ONE just a big huge smile!!!! I thought I would cry or my mom but, nope!!! I tried on sooo many dresses. But I kept coming back to mine and that's another way I knew. I have to say I love 2 of the dresses in your albums!!!
It will hit you like a ton of bricks when you have found the right one. Just try on everything, and even if it is so so try others and then try on the so so one again. It might be the one. Good Luck if you go to any stores today.

no i havent! i have only been in 1 store that carried maggies and they didnt have much of a selection of them at all! and i do like the phillipa... lol i feel like ive tried on 10 million of those without the corset back though ... where did you try on yours?

I was exactly where you were, I kept trying on dresses and thinking that was the style I wanted, then I decided to try a dress on that I never would have considered and OMG, I knew right then and there it was the one. And it was a Demetrios dress. I love Demetrios dress. So hang in there, don't give up, try some on you wouldn't normally try on and just have fun. The right dress will come to you, don't worry!!!! Besides it's so much fun trying on bridal gowns
