My new quilt

So I went to the Kutztown Festival in Kutztown PA. Its a Dutch folk festival and we go every year. They have a huge Quilt Barn filled with hand sewn original quilts.

So this year I bought one for our home. I always said if we got married I wanted one. The pictures do NO justice.

I paid pretty price *shrug* but I think it's worth it. $596.25. It's 96X110 and it's called 'ample queen' its really big on my bed but not too big.

OMG...it's absolutely beautiful!!!

Believe it or not it matches my existing accent pillow and sheet sets

I love when I dont have to worry about the different sheets vs the quilts.

Jim about died when he saw how much I was willing to spend. But it's an original one of a kind quilt never gonna be repeated. I think it's worth it.

Jim still has his doubts. Cats are gonna claw it. it'd be cheaper to buy a set at Nordstroms.blah blah..

But I love it! So vibrant!
