My new Sirius doens't work!!!

Nothing happened after FH connected it in my car - no signal, no channels, nothing - just the logo... and I called customer service 5 times, and they absolutely stink!!! I really felt like banging my head against the wall....

we are exchanging it for a new one this week - but I am so bummed!!!

Oh that sux. I got it for FH for Christmas and it works fine in his car, in the house we have problems though when it's raining and windy..we keep losing the signal.

I got him the XM though, it isn't Sirius (my mistake and now no Howard Stern!)

I don't know how much the home system costs....

I just hope he gets me a new working one before Jan 9 - that is when Howard goes back on!!!

At least you have almost a week until Howard comes. You have to have the receiver facing the west. It took FH and I forever since we are in the back our place faces east. We have to stretch the receiver through the apartment to the front of the place so that the receiver faces west. Hopefully it should work. It took FH and I over 30 minutes to realize this. It is great I love my Siriu!!!

We only have it in the car!!! We drove for hours with it (we drove to Shelter Island with it on, in case it would 'kick' in) - Nothing!!! It's impossible to just face 1 way when driving! We had the antenna out on the trunk, where they said in the book....

I got Sirius for my car and love it. MY FH installed it. I think you have to log on to the website to get it to work and pay for the membership, to get a signal.

I was having a problem to with my sirius. Try tuning it to a different station. We are tuning it to 90.1 FM I believe and it works out fine. My FH figured it out. Make sur you change it on your sirius too.

That stinks. We havn't hooked ours up in the car yet, but we got the home kit and it works great. We got the Starmate re-play. It even works with the antenna in the house.

Trust me ladies - we were on the phone with customer service 5 times!!!

We changed radio stations... Web can't change the stations on the Sirius radio because nothing happens when we o so - just the logo... Then the guy said - activate it anyway and see what happens - it should take between 30 secs and 5 minutes... Nothing... Then we called again, they told us to change our radio stations, then turn it on and off, then move the antenna....
