My next dumb question

When should you send out save the dates? We didnt have an e-party but most people know we are engaged anyway. We are semi on a holiday weekend.... MLK weekend

i was planning on doing it 1 year before. Since you are around the 1 year mark, I would say to do it within the next month or 2.

I've heard a year before...but if your wedding is a holiday weekend you might want to do it even sooner

im not sure when i am going to send mine out. i worried because its a summer wedding close to the 4th of july. some relatives keep asking when it is because they are planning cruises for the summer already. so i think i'll be sending them out sooner.

I have mine already but i am sending mine out a year before people usually do it 8-12 months before

We are sending them out a yr in advance, b/c we are getting married on Memorial Day weekend...

No earlier than 12 months I'd say.. maybe 8 months before at the latest.

I'm torn about this. I'd like to send them out around a year but I wonder if it's best for people to get their 2010 calander first. Since I'm getting married in July, I think i might send them out in oct/nov
