how do you make a brooch into a hair-comb/hair-pin? how does it stay in your hair?

I think you just take the brooch and you can either glue it tot he hair comb, or 'thread' the needle of the brooch through the hair comb.

I have to do the same thing. I ordered brooches from Kohls... I was going to try to hot glue it to either a comb or one of those hair clips that snap into your hair... let me know if you come up with a better way!

thanks!! I know so many people use the broochs in their hair -- just wondering how? any idea where to get the metal combs?
I know my headpiece has a metal comb wired to it.

you can get a hair comb and wind the back of the brooch onto it with a thin gauge wire.
