Yes...I booked my florist. I went all around town meeting florists and samples and finally i made a choice, he had me on the spot and they're great to work with...
Try Dyker Florist in Dyker Heights Brooklyn! he's reasonable and works w/ your budget....and he's extremely creative...he'll mock up a sample on the spot

I booked my Florist - Flower Michele yesterday!
But we are not seeing samples until 3-6 months before the wedding!

Re: My October Brides
I wasn't going to start looking at Florists yet, but I went to the Lands End Showcase yesterday and spoke to one of the florists that I'm interested in. I asked her when I should start looking and she said that now would be a good time since I'm getting married in the fall and they can show me all the fall colors that they have right now.

Re: My October Brides
Hmm, I haven't booked mine either. I am currently working on my Officiant. If I find any good florist deals, though, I'll share the wealth! I have 2 MOHs and 6 BMs, so if anyone knows of a place with good deals, too, please feel free to share!

Re: My October Brides
We booked the Florist last month. They had all fall flowers in, so we wanted to take a look.

Re: My October Brides
I am making my own CPs....tall hurricanes with candy and a fat candle... and for flowers I am going with any flower that is very purple almost black.. I really only need my BK and my BMs so I am not stressing the flowers

Re: My October Brides
I booked my florist earlier in the year and discussed what I wanted when I booked. Not too long ago, I saw my sample centerpiece so I'm pretty much all ready when it comes to flowers.

Re: My October Brides
I booked my florist (in NJ) and I know what centerpiece and bo-ks I want. I'm not doing a sample for a while though because my florist requires another payment at time of sample.
