My office is mostly empty

Just my desk and computer and empty file cabinets.

I just said goodbye to my boss on the phone and we both cried.

I can't believe how sad I am that this place is shutting down. I've been so crazed, packing, throwing things away (between posting will you all) - I can't believe how much it hurts to leave.

My only hope is that I find people who are half as nice, understanding, caring - I've never left a job so determined to stay in touch with so many people, all of whom can't wait to recommend me to anyone for a new job or buy my books one day.

I leave for Italy on Monday. I'm not even close to ready.

Also, Q that gig isn't paying and I need to have a little big of cash flow even with my serverance. Thanks for looking out for me, though.
