my office surprised me w/ a cake

today is my last day at work before the wedding, and this afternoon my boss told me we were all going to the conference room, because it was another employee's birthday and we were going to surprise him - i've only been here a few months so i believed him - and when we walked in they had a cake and cards for me - it was so nice! the cake was sooo good!

That's awesome!!! That's what they do here at my work also.... tell you it's for something else then surprise - it's for you! lol

I hear ya!! I am here til 6 though- and we are doing a party for me at 5-- no surprise... that was nice that they did that for you.

The same thing happened to me today. It was so nice and I too have only been working there 3 months. They actually gave me a check and awesome presents! Makes up for my family and friends not throwing a shower or bachelorette party!
