My ongoing shoe saga! Need your opinions and advice!!!!!

I have been in love with a certain pair of $130 couture bridal shoes since way before I got engaged. All along I have been telling myself I can't justify buying them because the company says they are not dyeable and even though they come in ivory to match my dress, I would only be able to wear them once. Kind of a lot of money for one day of wear!

But THEN all of a sudden they pop up on this site that sells dyeable shoes, and I call and the guy says even though the manufacturer says dyeing not recommended, he's dyed lots of pairs and never had a problem, even when dying them black for a bride after her wedding is over.

Every other shoe I look at, I compare to these. I just love them. So.....what do I do???

i'm in the same boat!! so i've purchsed a pair, a cheap-o pair and a middle of the road pair and i'm going to compare them all to my dress when i go home next week and then i'll decide. honestly, i'm hoping the cheap-o pair work out, but i wouldn't be devastated walking down the aisle in cynthia rowleys

I vote buy them. If you keep going back to them, just buy them. If you can dye them after black or brown to match your cloths, go for it. Obviously you love them.

I say buy them & see if you like them in person as much as you do right now.
Who knows, they may hurt your feet & then you can return them but at least you'll know how you really feel.

i say....BUY THEM!!!!!!!! i'm pretty sure that any other shoe will not compare because you have your heart set on them. Its your wedding day---splurge on those beautiful shoes!!!!!!

I would say buy them. You love these shoes and you will wear them again. I would say buy them.

I say buy them! I wore Grace shoes for my wedding and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wore them the entire day and I never wanted to take them off!

There are some things you really can't say no to, have you tried the shoes on? To see if they are comfortable. I say get 'em!!!

Honestly, I don't think $130 is too much to spend on shoes...especially for your wedding and ESPECIALLY if you love them so much, go for it!

If they ame you that much happier I would say do it but I myself would not because no one SEES your feet really unelss you show them off on purpose and ivory shoes beneath an ivory dress look the same. But if you want them for special shots and they just make you feel good and are comfy, get em.

When it comes to decisions like these, FH and I always ask ourselves something like this, 'Will I regret not doing this? Will I look back after the wedding and go - damn! I wish I'd gotten those amazing shoes!'

I say, buy 'em! If not for your wedding, then when else are you going to buy shoes like this that you love?!

I truthfully would say buy them, $130 is a lot for a one time wear but if they are dyeable and you will wear them again go for it.

BUT as a word of advice...really no one will see you shoes and if you are taking pictures outside be careful...you will sink and stain the heels...2 things to think about!!

hun if you had saved little by little $130 for shoes would've been pennies! no matter though, it's not like you're spending $600!! i would be a little weary of the company dying the shoe if the manufacturer says its not recommended, maybe you can get it in writing that if you're not satisfied you'll have a money back guarantee? good luck and get those shoes missy!

Buy them! I went through the same thing and didn't end up buying the shoes I really wanted. After spending tons on the wedding, I can't believe I was such an idiot about not spending a little extra on a pair of shoes. GO FOR IT!!!!!!
