My ongoing shoe saga! Need your opinions and advice!!!!!

Original post by cookiemonster

I have been in love with a certain pair of $130 couture bridal shoes since way before I got engaged. All along I have been telling myself I can't justify buying them because the company says they are not dyeable and even though they come in ivory to match my dress, I would only be able to wear them once. Kind of a lot of money for one day of wear!

But THEN all of a sudden they pop up on this site that sells dyeable shoes, and I call and the guy says even though the manufacturer says dyeing not recommended, he's dyed lots of pairs and never had a problem, even when dying them black for a bride after her wedding is over.

Every other shoe I look at, I compare to these. I just love them. So.....what do I do???

OOOH - I love those shoes and want to buy them too, ever since I saw them at the salon.
The only thing holding me back is the price.
But, I love the low heel and I need to have a low heel on my shoe since FH and I are close in height .......

Trying to justify the expense. I already bout a pair of Caparros, but the Grace shoe has a lower heel.

ETA - what is the website that can dye these shoes ? Just in case I decide to order them..........

If you can afford it and get them dyed black afterward I say buy them and make yourself happy. Plus I think it would be nice to have your wedding shoes that you can wear over and over again,
