My own drama

My own drama

Well ladies, I hit a milestone that I never thought would happen. I have gained 50 pounds since the wedding and I feel like a sloth. I can't believe DH even wants to get near me.

I know that I'm pregnant and I know that it was a tough first year of marriage with my health. I thought people that go through chemo lose weight. Who the hell knows anymore? Once I have this baby I hope they clear me to get back into the pool. I just need hugs.

I hear you....I have gained about 15 lbs since the wedding.....ugh, and being on BC does not help.

I've been trying to hit the gym but I'm now working 2 jobs so I haven't had much time to myself at all.

Keep your head up! I think it is almost a given that people put on some lbs after being married. You get comfortable in your 'new' life & the running around we did for the wedding comes to a drastic halt!

I have also gained about 10lbs since the wedding & have been trying my hardest to get it off. I have not been successful but have not gained anymore. Last night I had a breakdown with tears bc my favorite capris don't fit! I made a vow to do whatever I can daily (even if it is 10 minutes) to get my butt into action! I guess we shall see!

Hang in there....I had gained 20lbs after our wedding on our month honeymoon and then found myself pregnant less than 2 months later....so I'm at +40 from my wedding weight also. I plan on getting back in shape after baby though....

I know its hard though.

I gained 15 lbs since the wedding and it shows. I think it's happy weight though...the kind you put on when you are comfortable in life. Although, I'm not comfortable in my tight pants either

I know where you are coming from. I gained 10 pounds from being comfortable/happy and another 25 from quitting smoking.

I've gained 45 lbs in 1 year of marriage and I'M NOT PREGGOS! I completely understand hence why I've gotta get back into the swing of things asap.

Awwwwwww Kelly, hon you're PG and the fact that you've had health problems this year; well that's more than enough reason to gain!!!!!

I'm sorry you're upset but it could be so much worse, try to focus on the positive!!!!!

Re: My own drama

Thanks for the hugs. I guess what bothers me is that I was already 50 pounds over what I used to be when I got married. So, add another 50 pounds and that equals 100 pounds.

Granted, I am no longer a Nationally ranked swimmer that practices 5 hours per day and I love my new life!! I just wish I was halfway attractive. Thank God for pregnancy boobs, or I might not have Mike looking at me at all.

I met you at the GTG - and you looked great! You are a pregnant lady now - enjoy it - let me tell you - I tried one time after the baby to put on my 'fat' jeans and couldnt even get into those - when I told my OBGYN that, she said - dont even do that to yourself - your body will shift and do all sorts of things now...

Enjoy being pregnant - you are taking care of your baby!!!
