My own embarrassing question-

To the ladies on the pill (ok don't want to exclude the guys so if your on the pill feel free to respond!! )

Do you feel since being on the pill that your sex drive has gone down?? A lot of people I talk t feel this way, myself included...just curious...

I hope I don't get kicked off...but this is a medical question right??

Yes my drve went down the tubes completely...I just went off of the pill the beginning of this month and i am seeing a small difference already...

I told my doctor about the drive being gone, she told me to rub a cream on it...I will no longer be seeing that doctor when i decide to go back on the pill...

Yes. And I need to talk to my doc about that. But you are messing with Hormones and stuff so its bound to happen.

i dont think mine did for awhile, but now i have been on the pill for like 6 years and i think it has def gone down. I have been considering switching pills or trying something different...

mine went down significantly, so i tried the patch thing... and that was not good for business. now i use that ring that they insert into your diaphram. it's amazing, and i am such a horn-ball!!!!

yes definitely. i was on the pill for 4 years, and my sex drive was way down. i stopped the pill in October, and i totally see a difference.

Sorry to crash...but I definitely feel this way! I have been on the pill for over 2 years and I think my sex drive has gone down soooooooooooooo much. I was actually just thinking about this today!! I'm happy that other people feel this way so I'm not alone. I am thinking about switching when I go to gyno next time.

I was on the same pill for 5 years I switched for diff reasons. My drive has been alot better I mean it wasnt really bad to the point where you would notice I didnt even notice but since I switched its been better. And now more ready and in the mood whoo hooo

My doctor refuses to switch it because I have other issues that my current pill addresses, so I guess I can't have it both ways...

But when I go to my regular doctor I'm going to ask her to check all my hormone levels to make sure nothing else is going on...

I swear...FH is a saint when it comes to this...I feel bad about it though..

if youre on the ring... i just wanted to tell you it made me INSANE... i know everyone reacts differently to BC but i had to stop taking it.. i was crazyyyy!
