Has there been a point during the wedding process where you've questioned every single decision? For the past few days I have looking over my budget and item list and I have been driving myself crazy over every single detail. I'm usually not an indecisive person but i've questioned everything from flower cp vs. no flower cp, cutting my bridal party, thinking if limos are a must, ect. FH thinks i'm over thinking right now and I know he's right but I just can't shut my mind off from all this over analyzing....
::sigh::

Re: my own worst enemy - long
I'm an overanalyzer by nature and I have noticed wedding planning has brought out some intense over analyzing. Think it's because this is the day you've always dreamed of and you want to make sure it is everything you've ever wanted and more. Unfortunately in the real world, we have budgets. It can sometimes be hard to reconcile your wants with your budget. Best thing to do is make a list of what is really important to you and see if there are ways to negotiate a price that's right for you or if there are things that you can DIY.

And don't worry, you're not alone. I have second guessed myself every step of the way on this journey. Think it's only natural because you want this to be the best day of your life.

So far I've only booked my RH, but I've questioned that already- then I thought about why I picked it in the first place.
Ive been really slacking on planning, but I know once I start up again I'll be analyzing everything over and over again. I think w/ these kinda these you just gotta go with your first instinct- cuz thats usually the best one.

I am totally with you Goldie. I am usually an indecisive person. But I have questioned everything. However, the florist was funny with me because he could tell how I was, so it was like 'listen, you can change your mind up to 10 days before the wedding, so don't even worry about it!'

Re: my own worst enemy - long
We have changed everything at least once. We're even re-thinking the date!!
I originally wanted low CPs, now that I saw the Winter Garden Pavilion I've figured high is the way to go.
I originally wanted an outdoor cocktail hour, now that I saw prices for the summer. We're getting married in the spring on a Friday night.
We originally thought we wanted a limo, now that we've settled on a small bridal party.. we're only getting a classic car for us.
We thought about having the ceremony on site. We're getting married in a church.
I'm not kidding when I tell you, we've changed everything once already. Except the reception hall. That we love.

dont worry goldie. i'm in the same boat as you too. i second guess all of my decisions now. i think since we have so much time to plan that its normal. in a way having this much time is bad because i keep changing my mind and getting confused on what i really want.

Goldie, I think we all go through this. The thing is, this is supposed to be the most special day you and FH will share and because you want everything to be perfect, you begin to second guess your every move. I think we have it the worst right now as opposed to someone that has a quick engagement because we have such a long time to overthink every move we make.
