Re: My parents dont think i should go to cocktailhour
I don't want to miss it. We'll prob miss the first 20 mins b/c of pictures and I REALLLLLY want to be there for the whole thing. (We have a calypso band that I'm psyched about and great food... why would I want to miss that?!)

Go to your cocktail hour ! We were not going to but changed our minds. ALso, many brides I know that took pics during now say they wish they had been there because the day goes so fast and it gives you a little more time to enjoy the day

I have the same concerns as your parents. Fh wants to attend cocktail hour. I also think it might take away from our entrance at the reception.

Go, someone could spill something on your dress BEFORE the ceremony too - it is just a fact of life.
I didn't get 'spilled on' until the last 3 minutes of the after party - RED WINE! But ya know what, it is what it is...I would rather have the experience of the cocktail hour...I loved being at mine!
