My Poor Cookie
So I have mentioned before that right after we lost my other Papillon Truffle, Cookie went out to chase the geese (her favorite past time) and passed out on the ground. Ever since her heart hasn't been right.
So mom took Cookie to the vet yesterday because she has seemed worse. When the vet listened to her heart he couldn't even hear the beat, just a swoosh noise. She has a valve problem and is getting fluid which is causing her to do this little cough thing all the time. They put her on a diarrhetic, but diarrhetics lead to kidney failure which is what Truffle died of and it wasn't pretty. We don't even know if it will help the heart problem. I am sad. I love her so much.
