My poor doggie

One of my dogs is 13 years old, and we have to put him down tomorrow. I just want to cry. His back legs have recently become less mobile, and tonight he could not move them at all which is horrible because he's a big dog (weighs 140+ lbs). It's heart wrenching to see him try to get up. He just lies there and moans in agony. I wish he could just go peacefully. Tomorrow will be a hard day for all of us in my family.

im so sorry...ive lost pets and i know how hard this is...just remind yourself he is at peace now and out of pain..fm me anytime u want to talk

Thank you Gina!!! it means a lot to me! I'm not sure how we are even going to get him out of the house and to the vet. I think my Dad and brother and going to take him for us. I know I couldn't do it.

So sorry to hear that you have to do that; being through the same experience, it is hard.

But know that your family is doing the right thing; he will no longer be in pain which is the best for him.

aww i'm so so sorry! i know how painful that is. we had to do that to two of our dogs within a year of each other...i'm so sorry! i will be thinking about you and your family! you can always FM if you want to.

Thats horrible I want to cry just thinking about it u must be devastated!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear this. A few years ago I had to put down my dog that I had for 15 years...I understand the pain. They are family. You and your family will be in my heart and prayers.

i am so sorry this is happening to you. my family lost our dog a few years ago and dh's family had to put their dog down just two months before our wedding. i feel your pain....it's terrible.

I am very sorry. I had to put down my heart last year. It was one of the hardest things I've been through. Hugs. My thoughts are with you and your family.
