My poor Grandma

She is 92 and lives in a nursing home, her son lives in Florida and has arranged for her pension checks to be deposited into an account for various expenses she may have.

So last month she got the check in her room and the poor thing paniced (sp?) and thought they weren't taking her money so they were kicking her out.

It's not true and my mother calmed her down. But for days she thought she would have no place to live

Aww!! Poor thing. At that age, any change scares them. I remember my grandmother always worrying when something at her nursing home suddenly changed. She always called my dad to see what was happening. Hugs to Grandma

Older people can get so worked up that it takes FOREVER to calm them down, and their blood pressure goes through the roof. It's terrible for her to have to feel that way, even for a short time!
I'm so glad that she was worried for nothing.
