Yes, well roses will be used as centerpieces. i'm prob using them in my bouquet as well. i was gonna use calla lily's but i've been told they get brown very quickly

They are very pretty, but what are people supposed to do with them after the wedding? They kinda seem like the type of thing that will get shoved in a drawer.

I'm sorry but I kinda feel like the only people that will appreciate them are those really really close to you and everyone else will just see it as a trinket.

Honestly I agree with you. i think 99 % of wedding favors get shoved somewhere never to be seen again. i even have wedding favors that i still to this day have no idea what they even are lol

i figured if anything the women would like it, and it is crystal, so they can put it out on a table or something.

i'm really having a hard time with favors lol

but thank you for your opinion

I'm going to agree that people like useful things more than trinkets.

Are you dead set against edible ones?

I do think its pretty and I totally see your point about women liking it, putting it on display in their home! The box can be used again too to hold stuff so if you like it i say go for it.

You know your guests more then anyone and know if it will be something they like - also if it shows who you and FH are.

For FH and I - this type of favor isn't 'us' so we are probably going to use something on the funny/unique side lol

I can speak from personal experience that while I agree that favors are a nice idea I am all about usefulness! I have so many plates, cups, trinkets I have no use for that collect dust or end up at a garage sale or goodwill! I hate knowing the money they spent on it too as they are not cheap! I saw edible - wedding cakes, cookies, wine, whatever! But something to enjoy AFTER the wedding is even nicer!

I agree with the other girls. If I received this as a favor at a wedding I would think that it is very pretty; however, I wouldn't really know what to do with it and it would probably end up in a drawer somewhere. I am going to do edible favors. There are soo many different cute cookies/cakes to choose from, or you could give bottles of wine to your guests.

Re: my potential wedding favor

I have been having a hard time with this also. I have so many different age ranges at my wedding and I want something EVERYONE can use. I was thinking edible or bottles of wine. It's really hard finding something for everyone. My RH has the option of adding a pastry table at the end of the night and people get a personalized box with your name on it and the color you want it and they get to pick out 4 or 5 pastries to take home. They are $5pp though and thats a bit more then I wanted to spend. So if I can find something edible somewhere else cheaper I want to go with that.
