THere's a 24 hour Animal ER in Coram on Middle Country Road, called Animal Emergency Service, 698-2225. My FI refers his clients there after hours.

I'm not really sure what your puppy's symptoms are, but if he's vomiting he could have ate something, ie. foreign object (my FI sees it ALL THE TIME in Puppies!) which could kill him if it isn't removed asap.

I am sorry if I am getting you worried, but my FI has told me so many horror stories that could've been avoided if the animals were checked out sooner than later.

I hope your puppy is doing better, and please let me know what happens.

she is doing a lot better tonight. it scared me because she threw up twice the morning. i'm definetly taking her to a vet tommorrow. thank you girls for all your help, i really appreciate it. even my friends that i actually hang out with didn't care as much as you guys.

maybe she ate something bad
that happens to my dogs, they throw up b/c they eat grass or something then they are fine

May I ask where you got her from? I had the same problem when I got my puppy...just curious if you got her the same place. And what kind of dog is it?

i got her at cannine coral in huntington station and she is a maltese. did you get your dog from there too?

OMG...yes!!!! I have an English Bulldog, and she was sick when we got her. She had kennel cough, and wound up in the hospital with pneumonia for almost 3 weeks!!!!

Yep, totally. I fought with them becuase we had her home for a week, she was getting used to us and her new surroundings, was working on house training her, and then she gets uprooted again to a hospital, living in a cage! I was so upset. She was in the Coram Animal Hospital for almost a week, and then I had to transfer her to West Hills Animal Hospital in Huntington for almost 2 weeks!!
