I think mine will be remembered by the band we're going to have. FH is busting his *** to pay for it (its completely out of our price range) but he knows people will be blown away by them. Its going to be like a concert lolol
Oh and I think the food at my RH, everyone I know that has been there says the food is amazing..

At this point I'm not really doing anything that out of the ordinary, but I have heard great things about the food at the Harbor Club when I tell people where I'm having the reception. So I definitely think the food will be hit. I'm also looking forward to the percussionist during the reception b/c none of the weddings I've been to or are going to in the next year are having one. So that might stand out too!

Same here. Fh and I wanted a totally different wedding from the ones weve been to in the past.

The layout of my wedding is completely different. I rented out Coindre Hall from Suffolk and have the whole building for my wedding. There are all different rooms, so the dining room is seperate from the ballroom, etc.

we included the spanish tradition of 13 arras for our ceremony.

for our reception EVERYONE said our wedding was the best/most fun wedding they'd ever attended cause of the music (our DJ was unreal), percussionist, and perimeter lighting!

Well one thing is that 90% of my guests have never been to my rh and that is exactly why I picked it. I wanted my guests to have a new experience.

totally agree....not too many people have been there, much less heard of it. the view is so pretty with all the glass windows and we're having a percussionist too!

i think they are more going to remember that they watched us both grow up ( and together ) for the past ten years and then they all get to share in us finally getting married.

i mean, we arent doing anything different that people will remember specifically from the reception or anything so i think that . . .

they have memories of us at 15 and now at 25 - lol i am lame

Re: My question of the day: How will your wedding be remembered????

our venue is one that most of our family has yet to attend a wedding at.
FH's family used to go to the restraunt for Easter but not for weddings or anything...

I think people will get a kick out of my shoes... i'm wearing boots and everyone who knows me knows that i'm either in sandals or boots for 99% of the year so it's appropriate.

our cake... well i havent totally figured it out yet but it'll be different than what a lot of our guests are used to.

we're having a live band which most weddings we've been to lately have not had. most weddings in my family have dj's same with the inlaws...

we're not going out of our way to make things different... we're really big on the traditional wedding, but we're doing a lot of little thigns to tweak it so that it fits US and people will walk away saying...
'Yup. That was definitely Will and Kerri's wedding'
or something like that...
'if anyone would do *______* it would be them!'
