my registry

i am really getting annoyed. since setting up my Macy's registry, my everyday dishes & my fine china have gone on sale & had bonus offers regularly. but still nothing has been purchased.

i told my mom & my sister that the registry is finished, thinking they would start letting people know by word of mouth.

i have no idea when my shower is but knowing my mom i am confident that it is going to be in February (wedding in April). & that's only 4 months away.

i would hate for people to have to spend full price when they can get the discount price. when i mentioned this to my mom yesterday she got annoyed & called Macy's and asked if they could make the registry private so i can't view it.

oh well i guess i will just have to wait & see.

honestly i really wouldnt get worked up about it....most people are not going to buy gifts till they receive an invitation...plus maybe some are waiting for holiday sales. my shower is probably within the next couple of weeks and there is still a ton on it.

yup.. also macys has sales so often, ive noticed my stuff is almost always on sale

By any chance, when you set up your Macy's registry, did you put your mom's name anywhere? My mom came with me to set up mine, and when my china went on sale, they called her to tell her.

Dont worry everyone always waits to the last minute, my wedding is in February and nothing has been bought since my e-party, and I think my shower is next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christine.. no biggie... There are sales all the time. Plus people can get coupons and such. You can't control when people start buying especially since they don't know when your shower is.
