my review =)
i honestly cannot say one bad thing about anything, so everyone gets an A+ for now lol!!! obviously i did not get any pictures or video back. im not crazy about getting into every detail..so i hope this is good enough lol!
Timber Point - amazing! i didn't worry about one thing. i didnt get to eat any of the passed cocktail food which is what i really wanted (they brought us a tray of the stations, which were delish!) but what i love about timber point is that their selection is different and gourmet. we chose things like cold seared tuna over sushi rice (which im told was amazing!) and petite burgers with carmelized onions, spicy tuna wontons, new potatoes with gorgonzola and bacon, potstickers.. and more! they set up the room exactly how i wanted which was not how they normally do it and my centerpieces were just as i wanted. they really were great! we also did the meatball station...and the biggest hit was the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches at the end of the night. the guests loved them! perfect way to end after a night of drinking and dancing!
unlimited entertainment (dj) - fabulous!! we know them from my dh brothers weddings and let me tell you, they do not disappoint. we were really specific about our songs list.. and they stuck to it really well but also added some improvisations which worked so well with our guests. the dance floor was going all night!!! dont get my wrong, we are a dancing bunch! but we could have gone for another 2 hours if we had the time. people were having such a great time! everyone was dancing...even people who dont dance lol! ...and we did the photo package with the tvs... they took SUCH amazing pictures! i have pictures of every one of my guests!
blooming events floral design - i didnt use floral centerpieces, just bouquets, roses for our aunts, boutonnieres, flower girl and moms.. but nichole did a beautiful job with them!! again, exactly what we spoke about and how i pictured them! she was so pleasant to work with and reasonably priced.
hair - i worked with a family friend, josephine, who is not only adorable but great to work with! what's great about her is that she truly listens to what you want and makes changes as you go. she styled 5 people that morning and was a doll!
makeup - my bonus mother in law as i call her, fran. perfect! i have never gotten my makeup done and thought that i loved it. but this time, i did! i told her i want to be me, but bridal me! lol! she did an amazing job. i didnt look overdone or like someone else. i just looked like the best version of me. i want to look like that every day lol!!!
photography - loreto caceres - from what i know so far, shes amazing! she is a friend of my sister in law (yes, we know someone in every line of work!) and her pictures came out amazing. as we were taking photos, loreto stopped to show us how great they were coming out.. the lighting was perfect! i cannot wait to see these!
video - capture the moment - to be added!! they were very easy to work with and were on time and i NEVER saw them all night.. which is a good sign. because as im looking through photos, there is jessica! but she never was intrusive or in our face. i cant wait to see what they got!
shuttle - transtar - great to work with!! they were prompt, professional, clean.. i would use them again. in fact, next winery trip, im taking their party limo. it's awesome!
alterations - gina's alterations unlimited. - WOW! what an amzing job they did! you can see that my dress has a lot of detail and work.. and it did NOT fit me when i got it. it literally fit me perfectly when the were done. im obsessed with that gown! and they made it perfect for me. even when we did the bustle, gina tried a few and decided what worked best with my shape and the shape of the gown...and it was just perfection!
all in all, it was the greatest night ever! i cant believe it's done.. but honestly, we were both so present, i dont feel like we missed anything.
my advice to all brides... do what YOU two want. i think people really enjoyed our wedding because it was so 'us.' we slapped five when i got to the altar, i had the judge surprise him with a 'prayer' for the Rangers, and we danced back down the aisle to jagged edge, 'let's get married.' it was special and light and loving. we didnt stick to traditional, but like i said, it was so us and it made it OUR wedding. i wouldnt change one thing!
