23 more responses!! ABout 10 of them are my friends - how annoying!!!!

People are annoying. We were still waiting to hear from like 60 people a week after our RSVP date passed.

I totally agree with this RSVP thing. All they need to do is to check if coming or not and mail it. Very simple.

YES! Actually we called people a week after the RSVP date and most of our responses were verbal...but my brother RSVP'd NO (didn't mail it, sent and email) and came to the wedding - I was told this 2 days before...gotta love family!

Waiting for the RSVP's and calling people was by far my most detested wedding task.

I feel for you Christine!

I just don't understand what is so hard.... It's not like they have to fork over the big whoppin' 37 cents...we provide them with that...

Oh wait! I figured it out...see, next bride send pens along with your invites...maybe they just don't have anything to write with?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ugh, same thing here... the responses that we did not get back are from my friends and his friends.............. a lot of people just 'assumed' we knew they were coming.

My best response to date is one i got yesterday from a good friend who lives in VA Beach. She checked off yes, but then wrote a note saying - we will really try to make it up for your wedding. Only money keeps us away.

Um...Hello - there is no maybe to check off. It's yes or no!!!! I emailed her asking for a definitive response in a week. I just don't get some people!!!!

I have to agree that it has been a very annoying and stressful part of the planning. We had to chase a bunch of people down...fortunately FMIL took the lead and helped us out. She felt our pain and came to the rescue. We are still waiting on one more person but that's better than what it was.

People really piss me off!! I know we have all asked this, but....WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT SENDING IT BACK???

We are still waiting for 65 cards...equalling about 115 people! Granted, my response date is not for another 13 days...so I hope to get at least half of them back before then!

I already made my minimum, but I want to start on table assignments and placecards to get them over with!

I am going to start calling on Tuesday after Labor Day weekend if I don't get them all back by Thursday.

We never got back two of our responses or returned phone calls (numerous) or emails..... I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't get it!
