My RSVP date is tomorrow, and ....

I still have 56 invitations unaccounted for.

Yup....112 people are not accounted for....that's 1/2 my guest list...

enough for a small wedding - and no reply yet.

let's hope the mailman shows up with 56 envelopes tomorrow, huh?



I think next year, I give Emily Post etiquette books for xmas gifts.

Mine was due last week, and we are still waiting for rsvps....

my favorite is when I get the RSVP saying yes...then I get an email or phone call 1-2 weeks after saying, they can't come now...that's my all time favorite.....but i'm not bitter...

I know it's so frustrating --- I just went through that myself. Just be patient and few days after RSVP date, just start sending an email or two

I just dont understand how difficult it is to check off a box and mail a rsvp...ESPECIALLY if the couple sent out STDs months in advance!!!
They knew an invite was coming and when the wedding was so what is the problem??

People are out of their minds, i dont even want to imagine how bad it will get for the wedding bc im already having a breakdown with my e-party this weekend and its half the guests...ive actually had a couple of people rsvp yes then no then yes, infact my party is TOMORROW!!!! and still get phone calls.

The worst was one person rsvp yes then said no they cant make it then they said yes again...Then while i was at the place dropping stuff off yesterday, i get a phone call that this person says no AGAIN then 5 mins later get a call that they are coming, *** happened in that 5 minutes

People have issues seriously...and on top of that always gotta deal with everyones drama

My RSVP was January 25th my wedding is in 8 days guess what arrived in the mail yesterday.......A RSVP card from my cousin with his three kids included...Give the late repliers about a week then start making phone calls.

mine is sunday and im right there with u ladies....i think i have somewhere near 40 or 50 that didnt reply! ....u spend a ridiculous amount of money on the invites themselves and then crazy money on the stamps and then my favorite they hand it to u....HEY LAZY A$$ PUT IT IN THE FREAKIN MAILBOX SO THAT I DON'T FEEL LIKE A FOOL THAT GOT 200 STAMPS!!!!!! ok i feel better

I think that's a great idea!!! I hope I don't encounter so many tardy responses.....but I'm sure it will happen!! I had to make calls for our e-party.....I guess its unavoidable that some people will forget- but 56 rsvp's is a huge number!!

My RSVP date is March 10th. They have until the 17th to respond (one week later) If they don't respond by then I am calling them up and saying that due to the enormous number of things I need to prepare that are dependent on the amount of guests attending, I will need to get a reply from you by the 21st. If I have not heard from you by that date then I am going to put you down as a no.

If a reply is after the 21st and it's a yes then I am calling them up and telling them- sorry, you had over a month and a half to respond- I already paid for and put in my head count.

Too bad - so sad!

My rh wants their $$ 2 weeks prior, so they would be s.o.l. - sorry - my guest list is finalized, and paid in full. thanks anyway.

and with 3 kids, too - 5 people...what are they thinking?!
