My sample centerpiece from FLOWER MICHELE

So yesterday i finally got to see our sample centerpiece from Flower Michele. I don't know if it's because i had really (REALLY!) high expectations but i was a lil disappointed at the outcome. I didn't really say it when i was there but i feel like we're paying alot of money for them and not getting it's worth. As you can see the centerpiece is made up of roses, hydrangeas, and curly willow. All of which are 'cheap' (as in price, not quality) flowers. I don't know. What do you guys think? John will be adding more curly willow on the centerpiece itself and inside the vase. There will also be rose petals around the bottom with the candles. I thought it was going to be a more 'ivory' colored centerpiece with 'touches of' black magic roses but it seems like it's the other way around. He did tell me that i can change some of the red roses to vendela (ivory) roses but i'll be leaving it as is because FH likes it the way it is now. Sigh...I don't know...I'm really confused. Give me your honest opinions please!
BTW...my color scheme for the wedding is RED and IVORY!

honey it's not going to be what you want unless you speak up! John is such a teddy bear...all he wants is for us girls to be happy..and if we're not happy, especially with the money we're paying him...then he's not going to be happy and its going to hurt the reputation that he prides himself on...its your day and it should be exactly what you want...so let him know what your vision is and what was missing compared to what you got...he'll make it to be exactly what you wanted and then some!!!

its a beautiful centerpiece however if you are not 100% happy with it express that with John. Hes a really understanding guy and only wants the best for 'his girls' so if you do tell him that you are not 100% satisfied then he will try and make it as close as he can to your dream centerpeice.

He may have had something else envioned when you sat down and explained to him what you wanted and you may have something COmpleteLY different. I def recommend you make an appointment with him and disucss a few changes !

I think it's lovely, and hydrangea is NOT cheap!! I just bought some and it was $7.50 a stem! If you're not 100% satisfied, though, definitely speak up!

Thank you girls for all the sweet comments! I've been thinking about it all day and i think i'm going to have to call John and ask him to fill in the green more with some ivory roses or so. It's too much green! Would that be extra?? And if i requested another sample would i be charged for that?

I think they are very pretty, but don't just settle get what you want. Keep in mind the guests will think they are pretty either way..they are there for you not the flowers.

I think they look really nice. But if you are not completely satisfied with them please speak up!! Johns seems like a very reasonable person and will work with u.
At the end of the day it's your money,...so you need to be happy with it..

I THINK THEY ARE VERY NICE..BUT YOUR THE ONE THAT HAS TO BE REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM. SPEAK WITH JOHN ABIUT HOW YOU FEEL..I AM GOING TO USE FLOWER MICHELE FOR MY FLOWERS AND JOHN HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL AND VERY WILLING TO WORK WITH ME.
